"Purity" what does it mean?
So people can be antisexual for a variety of reasons.
Personally I'm primarily antisexual because it makes sense both emotionally and rationally.
Secondarily I'm antisexual because it makes sense ecologically, financially, radically, aimlessly, virtually, critically, educationally, socially, procedurally, mobily, chemically, mechanically, nutritionally, statistically, creatively, visually, audilly, nuclearly, etc.
Anyways, exagerated rhetoric aside, some people here I notice seem to be have "purity" as a reason. What does that mean? Does it entail more than antisexualism?
To me it seems that stereotypically it's associated with negative things, such as naivety.

Heres a potential post that may be related. Sort of a sad cry for help, this person seems to experience a sense of betrayal to themselves from sex.

Re: "Purity" what does it mean?
"Purity" is goodness. It is the state of being clean of ills, of infection, of dirt. This doesn't just relate to the physical state, but also the emotional and the spiritual. Impurity disrupts the physical state in ways that are obvious: disease, infected wounds, etc. Impurity disrupts the emotional state by robbing the individual of self-control. Impurity disrupts the "spiritual" state by robbing the individual of self-awareness.
Physical impurity: Directly affects the body (including the brain, but excluding the emotional and rational components), impeding its ability to function properly, inflicting pain and spreading harmful toxins.
Emotional impurity: Directly affects the mind (brain), impeding the individual's ability to control oneself rationally.
Spiritual impurity: Directly affects the "spirit" (consciousness), impeding the ability for one to remain aware of themselves and their place in reality.
Examples:
Physical impurity: Drinking alcohol and thus damaging the liver.
Emotional impurity: Giving in to one's instinctive desires to mate and therefore entering an unstable and therefore unhealthy relationship.
Spiritual impurity: Believing sexuality to be good and healthy (at this stage, converting the individual to a pure existence is extremely difficult, if not impossible in most circumstances).
Can you be spiritually pure, but emotionally and physically impure? Yes. For example, you may engage in self-stimulation due to your difficulty in controlling your hormones or out of some other instinctive/emotional reason, but you still know morally it is wrong. The spiritually impure individual however does not believe it to be wrong and therefore has no barriers to committing impure acts. It is important to remember that any state of impurity is not good, even if you still retain the awareness of its harm. Without self-awareness however, conversion ("salvation") is impossible as you yourself do not believe impurity to be bad or even that it exists in the first place.
