Porn is a positive? LOL Empty Porn is a positive? LOL

It's videos like this that just irks me. I'll admit, I didn't look at the entire vid, because I just couldn't take it. This man named Denzel (red shirt) isn't wrong for thinking that porn ruins love and he mentions how scientific evidence backs up his views, but the guy who's interviewing him, mentions scientific evidence that supposedly says that scientists interviewed 10,000 porn stars and the "evidence" showed that porn is beneficial or a positive? HOW!? This is what irritates me about the bias scientists have concerning sex, though science is typically objective and goes about certain methods of testing and falsifiability, they've allowed society to affect their methods.

And though I hope there's a scientist that can disprove this (hopefully they're antisexual or maybe asexual, but even with me saying this some might see it as me being biased, but there needs to be some diversity...or better yet, BALANCE) I think there's probably NEVER going to be any critique and refutation of this bs within the field, and the problem with this method, at least what the interviewer mentioned to Denzel is the lack of thinking as to how reliable that info is, he said that they INTERVIEWED 10,000 porn stars! INTERVIEWED! And he thinks that's good enough!? Who's to say that they aren't lying or withholding information? Or, how subjective that is? If it's paying your bills and you're a sexual deviant that has an extreme liking of sex...slightly more than the other abnormal masses out there - especially in practice, since they engage in it more than most - of course you're gonna say you love it!!!! That's there's nothing wrong with it! I've read elsewhere that most info about the porn industry is shrouded in mystery so to speak, and it's somewhat difficult to determine truth from lies, (or maybe that's a way lacking acknowledgment) but sometimes it's found.

Also, hearing some accounts from women that were friends or social media, even though they view porn themselves, they find it a problem that most men tend to fail at pleasing them because of viewing porn, the men mainly perform in way one woman described as "that rough ass shit." Not only that, the various types of porn that's out there to satisfy all types of perversity....exactly how is it healthy? Normal? Beneficial?  This might be TMI, but I used to look at porn, and I struggled trying to find so-called "normal" stuff, heck even I would get sucked in looking at videos that I normally be disgusted by. Most of the time I would try to "rationalize" it by skipping parts of the vid and sometimes I would feel sort of bad after viewing it.

I get on this guy's channel trying to avoid stuff like this, and this is what happens....

I was surprised that there were 10,000 porn stars. But maybe it was more a surprize that 10,000 porn stars agreed to the same interview.

I've wanted to do some of my own studies. I don't have much money to do anything big. Maybe an online survey that pays participants. I agree that science is supposed to be unbiased, but it's not always like that. Even if I did do studies the focus would be on antisexual issues, and even that could possible be counted as "bias"?

A bit ago I found this putrid group called the "Society for the scientific study of sexuality". I was excited at first! Ha! Ha!
Only click this link if you're okay with feeling depressed and possible suicidal for the rest of the day

(Note: The suicidal thing was an exageration, but you know what I mean)

Right, 10,000 pornstars....it might be counted as bias, but like I said before, I feel there a need for balance, that way people would know there's valid counterarguments and viewpoints and go from there.
This link, Are you trying to kill me! Lol, I guess I'll check it out, though not today, I'm trying my best to avoid feeling dismal all day. Oh! Happy New Year!!!

https://endsexualexploitation.org/articles/recent-opposition-to-the-truth-about-pornography-and-prostitution-on-college-campuses/

I'm a bit disheartened to see that this ridiculous opposition. But also because the letter they wrote sounded eerily like my letters against evo psych. Which is making me reflect on how I should distance myself from their conduct.

I find myself extremely skeptical that porn has any real "positives", unless by positives one means satisfying lust. I think it's probably more likely to lead to addictions and other issues long term.

On a related note, I found this and it seemed interesting, though I would have to check the reliability of the sources: https://www.yourbrainonporn.com

Definitely a positive. It creates an economy for a handful who can't find a better role elsewhere, and provides an alternative for wasting time and energy on "the real thing".

Recent studies show that alleged porn addiction isn't a thing (at least any more so than an addiction to any non-pharmaceutical product), but while I can't prove it, I can imagine an excess of it leading to someone becoming jaded with the material and subject matter. It's a huge positive if that's true.
