If there's an infinite amount of space between the beginning of a meter and the end of a meter. Does that means I travel an infinite amount of space every day?

I suddenly feel very accomplished.

There's a long trail of ants across the wall where I study. It's gross, but strangely fascinating. I could see it becoming a new hipster decoration.

There are all kinds of infinity paradoxes, but to me the coolest is the Banach-Tarski one, it says that you can decompose a sphere in a finite number of 'pieces' and recompose it a two spheres of the same volume! So awkward!!!(there is VSauce video of it)

Also concerning the infinity, there is a field of mathematics called measure theory that defines the idea of lenght, area, volume (more generally a measure) for a infinite set of points

I always get confused regarding a certain use of the word "literally". And this use is when it refers to fictitious things.
If you say "There are literally mice in the book" and you mean that the story contains mice. Is that a proper use of the word? Or would you have to mean that there are living mice inside the physical book.
I know there are better words then "literally" to use in this situation. But it still puzzles me.
In short, when I want to indicate the fact that a story contains mice, I find it safer to say "There are literally literaryily  mice in this book"

Are you aware of the Nofap mouvement?

https://www.nofap.com

It has conquered Internet in a very short time, like a storm. I mean go on youtube now and search for nofap hard mode or nofap semen retention and most of the videos are from 2017 or this year, even.

And with delicious sub-forums:

https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?forums/abstinence-retention-and-sexual-transmutation.108/

I think it's a great mouvement. Abstinence makes men masculine, yes!  Smile

I don't know about "great" if we're talking about the community. For the reason you give "Abstinence makes men masculine", a lot of wack's on their thinking this compliments their sexuality, like some kind of home tonic.
Case in point
"Retention and sexual transmutation"

I was actually online that day and all of them were guests, so I assumed that someone maybe had linked to this forum somewhere. If a forum usually have 2-3 guests online at same time and one day suddenly 6-7 guests at the same time then it's possible that someone has linked to this forum. I felt uncomfortable because my nickname were shown online so I left the forum lol..

I don't agree with "everything's a remix" and that there are no new ideas to be explored.

Let's say we're at the beginning of human history and they make something up. Is it based on stuff they've already seen? Are the ideas that they come up with a "remix"? For the sake of proving wrong by contradiction let's assume they are, and that that continues to the present day.
But as you can see, ideas that are present today were not present at the start of human history. Thus, even if the ideas were done gradually through "remixes" they still produced something new.

But when they say "everything's a remix" are they just saying that all ideas have been explored at this point? Because I would also disagree on that. I think that's a stupid line of thinking. And also something they can't really prove.

so do i win

How about an R-rated movie with jokes about pedophillia and sexual assault but 5 minutes in they lampshade that they're only making the jokes to give the audience the impression that the movie has no taboos by breaking taboos normally assigned to movies thus the jokes being shorthand to communicate with the audience that the movie is unrestrained despite sex being a completely boring and retarded meme to talk about and that ultimately the uncreativity of talking about it ironically offsets any freedom that being uncensored provides to the point where it's just as constrained and thus there's no point to any of it.

While a satire of R-rated edginess and related sexual attitudes is a thing. Tone it down to PG or PG-13. Making a satire of sexual culture I think could be interesting. I mean it's not like you have a lack of material.

Make a parody of how sexuals over-dramatize puberty, make a mockery of "the talk".
Maybe put on a debate of two completely straight faced political figures arguing about some benign sexual issue while the protagonists riff on it. "should the recycling plant have the right to give porn to their customers." or whatever the #*$(.

All with an overtly antisexual bent...i.e the bent it would normally have with showing this #()# but communicating that the movie is made by people who are antisexual.
In other words, the difference between "the room" and whatever that movie about "the room" was called.

I guess what rating you pick depends on whether you want it to be a comedy reachable to a wide range of people or to appear "challenging".

Then you can parody the fat children entertainers who have admitted vendettas against sexual purity (whatever that means to them). Pre-emptively counter-counter-arguing.

Just parody everything. Of coruse being sure to do it smartly.

Only problem is, while this is about sexuality, I don't actually consider it as sexual content, which is why I said it could be permitted as PG or PG-13, but does that mean viewers and ratings bureaus would view it the same way?
Should I make another topic about this?
