What is this, and what are we for:

This is a community for people who chose life without sex for non-religious reasons, usually an ideological rejection of it. This site isn't the first of its kind, but aims to be both a support group, and build an archive of information, with extensive documentation.

Issues with Language

This site has a convoluted history, but is technically part of the antisexual community, which is composed of people who rejected sex, and identify as antisexual, but may or may not be considered part of the celibate community. Whether a cohesive celibate community exists or not, is another question.
